Valentine’s Day cake in Baku: bento ideas for 14 February

Valentine’s Day cake: a white bento cake dotted with red hearts and the Russian word “люблю” (I love you) piped in the middle, in kraft paper and a white box

A Valentine’s Day cake is the simplest way to say “I love you” in a way they will remember. For a date night, a small bento cake for 1–2 people is enough: in Baku it costs 25 ₼, and the cream can carry hearts, a love note, a private joke or a photo of the two of you. Below you will find Valentine’s cake ideas for her and for him, Cake to go for two and, most importantly, how to order ahead so the day you want is still free.

Which cake to choose for 14 February

For dinner for two or a morning surprise, a small bento is ideal: it comes in a white clamshell box and is easy to hand over in person. For a family evening or a group of friends, go for a bigger size, and for a walk, a cake in a cup:

FormatWeightBest forPrice
Bento cake for 1–2 people300–350 gDinner for two, a gift handed over in person25 ₼
Bento cake for 3–4 people750–800 gAn evening with family or friends35 ₼
Bento cake for 7–8 people1200–1500 gA larger group60 ₼
Cake to go, 2 cups170–190 g or 270–290 g eachA walk, a date in the car25 / 30 ₼ for two

The price of a bento depends only on its size, not on how complex the design is: a cake with a single heart costs the same as one with a drawn couple. A photo cake is priced like a regular bento too, and the lettering is free. All our designs are in the bento cake catalogue — we can recreate any of them with your own lettering.

Hearts and “love you”: the Valentine’s classics

Red hearts on pale cream tell everyone at once what the occasion is. A few designs from our catalogue that suit 14 February:

  • Scattered hearts — a cream cake with a pearl border and raised red hearts, a Valentine’s classic;
  • Hearts and “I love you” — a white cake covered in red hearts with lettering in the middle, wrapped in kraft paper: a photogenic surprise;
  • One big heart — a cream cake with a single large red heart and “this is your cake”: as simple as it gets, which is exactly why it works;
  • Characters in love — a drawing of a couple with red hearts and “my favourite person”, or a mint cake with two hedgehogs in love and hearts between them;
  • A symbol without words — two cream puzzle pieces joined in the centre of a white cake: a symbol of the two of you, with room for lettering at the side if you want it.

Changing the colours is easy. The online cake builder has 19 cream colours, including red, pink, powder and raspberry, and the lettering can be red, raspberry or gold.

A confession only the two of you will get

Hearts are lovely, but a cake stays in the memory longer when it carries a personal detail: a line from your messages, a nickname only you know, or a joke that needs no explanation. Lettering is free, in English, Russian or Azerbaijani. A few ideas to get you started:

  • for a first confession — “I like you”, “Be my Valentine?”, “Will you be mine?”;
  • for a long-time couple — “Still choosing you”, “Anywhere with you”, “Best team ever”;
  • with humour — “Lovingly putting up with you”, “You’re better than pizza”, “Love you more than a lie-in”;
  • only yours — a nickname, a word from your very first chat or a quote from “your” film.

You will find many more in our collection of cake lettering ideas for every occasion. The cake builder takes up to three lines of 40 characters each, and on a small cake a short phrase looks better than a long letter anyway.

A couple photo on the cake

If you would rather share memories than words, order a photo bento cake. We print the picture in edible ink straight onto the cream: a portrait of the two of you, a shot from your first trip, a screenshot of your chat or a still from “your” film. Two frames can sit side by side, Polaroid style. If you would rather not show faces, there is a design with a pair of cats and your two names above them. Send a large photo that hasn’t been zoomed in too far — fine detail gets lost in printing. Before printing, we will show you on WhatsApp how the picture will look on the cake.

A cake for her and for him

There is no one-size-fits-all Valentine’s cake: some people love hearts and pink cream, others prefer a single understated line. Go by the person you are celebrating rather than by what is customary.

For her

A safe bet is white or powder-pink cream, a scatter of red hearts and lettering in the middle. For something softer, choose a heart-shaped cake in pink cream with her name. If she loves vintage, go for a bow bento with a real satin ribbon in red or pink; it comes only in sizes for 3–4 or 7–8 people.

For him

If he is not into decoration, go for pale cream, a single red heart and a short line — or the minimal cake with a blue wash and “love you” piped in blue. If sentiment isn’t his thing, a shared joke or a photo of you together makes a better gift. For a romantic, there is a deep blue galaxy cake with gold stars, a crescent moon and “to the moon and back”.

Cake to go: a dessert for two

If you are planning a walk or a date in the car rather than dinner at home, choose Cake to go — a mini cake in a cup. A wooden spoon and a candle are included, so you won’t need plates or a knife. The cups are sold in sets of two or more — just right for a couple: 170–190 g at 25 ₼ for the pair, 270–290 g at 30 ₼ for the pair. The sponge and filling are the same as for our bento cakes. Ready-made ideas for 14 February:

  • two cups with the word “LOVE” split in half — put them side by side and the word reads as one;
  • two cups, each with a pair of cream hearts — a minimal set for a romantic occasion;
  • two cups with jokey love notes and red hearts — we write your own words, from tender to totally silly.

How to order a Valentine’s cake in time

We have no ready-made cakes on display: every bento for 14 February is made to order. The earliest date in the form is two days ahead, but free days run out faster in the week of the holiday, so plan your confession in advance.

Check which day of the week the holiday falls on: Sunday is our day off. If 14 February is a Sunday, as it is in 2027, order the cake for Saturday 13 February, when it can be received between 11:00 and 14:00, or for Monday evening, 15 February, from 17:00.

  1. Choose a design in the catalogue or build your own in the cake builder.
  2. Type the words of your confession exactly as they should appear on the cream, and pick a filling — red velvet with strawberry, for example.
  3. If it is a surprise, tick “The recipient is someone else” and add the recipient’s name and phone number.

Courier, Bolt Delivery or pick-up, handover hours and order confirmation are all covered step by step in our guide on how to order a cake in Baku. And if you are celebrating your own date rather than 14 February — the day you met or your wedding day — have a look at our article on relationship and wedding anniversary cakes.

Valentine’s Day cake FAQ

How far in advance should I order a cake for 14 February?
The earliest date in the form is two days ahead, but for 14 February it is wise to book sooner: free days go faster in the week of the holiday. Check the day of the week too — we do not work on Sundays.
How much is a Valentine’s Day cake?
A bento for 1–2 people is 25 ₼, for 3–4 people 35 ₼ and for 7–8 people 60 ₼. A Cake to go set of two cups is 25 or 30 ₼. The price depends on the size, not on how complex the design is, and the lettering is free.
Can I order a heart-shaped cake?
Yes, the catalogue has heart-shaped cakes — for example, one in pink cream with a name and a date. The heart shape costs more than a round bento, so we will confirm the exact price when you order.
Can you print a photo of us on the cake?
Yes. We print the photo in edible ink on the cream, and the cake costs the same as a regular bento. You can have one picture or two side by side in Polaroid frames.

A Valentine’s cake doesn’t have to be big — it just has to be yours. Choose hearts or a private joke, a photo or one short line, and we will make the bento for your date. Just don’t leave the order until the last day.
