On an anniversary cake, the star is not the design but your story: the day you met, the number of days you have been together or which wedding anniversary it is. Which anniversaries call for a cake
An anniversary is not only the wedding date. A cake can just as well mark your first month, six months or first year together, the day you met or your first date. Each occasion has its own lettering and size:
- Months together — the first month, three months, six months. This is usually a small surprise for two, so a cake for 1–2 people is plenty.
- Your first year together — those 365 days. That is the idea behind the “Our 365 days” cake: light blue cream, a pink cloud frame and the message, with your own number of days.
- Wedding anniversary — the first, the fifth, the tenth or any other. The “3rd Anniversary” cake has blue cream, the message and a scattering of red hearts; we change the number and the wording to match yours — from your first anniversary to any milestone.
- The day you met or your first date — a date that means something only to the two of you. It looks good in numbers, as on the heart-shaped Pink Heart cake: a name and a date in red on pink cream. Bear in mind that a heart-shaped cake costs more than a round one — we will confirm the price when you order.

Numbers and dates: the heart of an anniversary cake
On an anniversary cake, a number beats a long message: it is big, readable at a glance and looks great in photos. Decide what you are counting:

The number and lettering can be in any of the 12 colours in our cake builder, from red and blue to gold and silver. On the “3rd Anniversary” cake, for example, the letters are white on blue cream.
What to write on an anniversary cake
Lettering on the cake is free — in English, Russian or Azerbaijani. A few short phrases that look good next to a number:
- “Happy Anniversary”
- “1 year together”
- “12 months, 52 weeks, 365 days”
- “Happy wedding anniversary!”
- “Together since 12.06.2021”
- “365 more, please”
- “5 years down, forever to go”
- “Mr & Mrs — 10 years”
The shorter the phrase, the bigger the letters, so two or three lines next to a number look better than a long message.
A cake with a photo of the two of you: then and now

Which size to choose: for two or for the whole family
The size depends on where you are celebrating and with whom. The price depends only on the size, not the design: a number cake and a photo cake of the same size cost the same; only a heart-shaped cake costs more.

For a family wedding anniversary
