A first tooth cake is usually a small 300–350 g bento for 25 ₼: a smiling tooth with fairy wings and a crown on white or blue cream, with lettering beside it — “First tooth”, “My first tooth” or the month and the number of teeth. The lettering is free, and a cake this size is mainly for the photos and for the parents. Below you will find ready-made designs from our catalogue, advice on size, lettering ideas and how to fit the cake into a monthly series.
First tooth cake designs in our catalogue
Our kids’ bento cakes section has more than a hundred designs — for each of the baby’s months, first birthdays, nursery graduation and the first tooth. The first tooth is rarely marked with a cake, though it deserves one: a small cake with a smiling tooth turns an ordinary day into a little family celebration. The star of all these cakes is the tooth fairy; what changes is the background, the details and the lettering:
- “First tooth” on white cream — a crowned tooth with fairy wings and the words “First tooth”;
- a blue cake with a tooth fairy — a tooth fairy in a crown and a line about the first teeth, with as many teeth in the lettering as your baby has;
- a tooth fairy with blue hearts — a white cake with a two-line message; we change the text and the month to suit you;
- a tooth with wings, a crown and a magic wand on white cream — with the month, the number of teeth or the name in the lettering.
We can make any of these designs in the size you need, with your own lettering. If you would like a different character instead of the tooth, or a different background colour, send us a picture and we will work from it.
The selection below has four tooth cakes and two sea-themed monthly cakes, also on white cream: seeing them side by side makes it easier to picture how the tooth will fit into your series.
A small cake for photos: which size to choose
For babies under one, people usually go for the small cake — it is mainly for the photos and for the parents. The bento for 1–2 people comes in a white clamshell box, the classic bento look, so you can photograph the cake right in its open box. On the small cake the piped cream border runs along the top only; there is none at the base.
If you are celebrating the first tooth with grandparents and guests, choose the size by the number of people at the table. The price depends only on the size, not on how complex the design is:
| Size | Weight | Good for | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| For 1–2 people | 300–350 g | Photos with the baby and tea for the parents | 25 ₼ |
| For 3–4 people | 750–800 g | Tea with the grandparents | 35 ₼ |
| For 7–8 people | 1200–1500 g | A party with guests | 60 ₼ |
Inside is a sponge with cream cheese and one filling, following the “1 sponge + 1 filling” rule — vanilla sponge with banana or red velvet with strawberry, for example. All the combinations, with photos, are on our sponges and fillings page.
What to write on a first tooth cake
Lettering is free — in English, Russian or Azerbaijani. The tooth cakes in our catalogue usually carry two short lines: the month at the top and the occasion or the number of teeth at the bottom — for example “8 months” over “First tooth”, or “6 months” over “2 teeth”. Lettering like this reads well and doesn’t compete with the drawing. A few ideas for different cases:
| What you are celebrating | Lettering ideas |
|---|---|
| Just the first tooth | “First tooth”, “My first tooth”, “İlk diş” |
| The tooth and the month | “8 months · First tooth”, “8 months and my first tooth” |
| Several teeth already | “6 months · 2 teeth”, “7 months and 2 teeth” |
| With the baby’s name | “Aylin’s first tooth”, “Murad · first tooth” |
| Just for fun | “Hello, little tooth!”, “Watch out, I bite!” |
In the cake builder you can add up to three lines of text — the third one is just right for the name. We write the child’s name in Cyrillic or Latin letters, whichever you prefer.

A first tooth cake in a monthly series
If you photograph your baby with a new cake every month, it is easy to make the first tooth part of that series. We keep a series in one style: the background stays the same and only the number changes. There are two ways to add the tooth:
- One cake for two occasions. In the month the tooth appears, order a tooth fairy cake with both the month and the number of teeth on it, like our cake reading “7 месяцев и 2 зубика” (7 months and 2 teeth). The photo still fits the series, because the cake still shows the month’s number.
- The tooth on your usual background. Ask us to draw the tooth on the same background as the other cakes in your series: send us photos of the earlier cakes and a picture of the tooth on WhatsApp.
Ideas for the other months, the 40-day mark and six months are in our article on cakes for your baby’s monthly milestones, and when your baby turns one you can round off the series with a first birthday cake featuring the number, the name and your child’s favourite character.
Design your own first tooth cake in the builder
Haven’t found the right design? Make your own in the online cake builder. For a tooth cake people usually go for white or blue cream, like the designs in our catalogue, a drawing of a tooth or a photo of the baby’s first toothy smile, and two or three short lines: the occasion, the month and the name. You can drag pictures and text around the cake and view the finished design in 3D.
How to order a first tooth cake in Baku
You can’t predict the day the first tooth will show, so it is easiest to order the cake as soon as you spot it: the form lets you pick a date from two days ahead. We are closed on Sundays, and on Mondays cakes are handed over from 17:00. The remaining steps, from choosing delivery to order confirmation, are in our guide to ordering a cake.
If the grandparents want to give the cake as a present, tick “The recipient is someone else” in the order form and enter the parents’ name and phone number — we will deliver the cake to them. Your order is accepted once we confirm it on WhatsApp, and you can also message us directly at +994 55 215 63 43.
