An 8 March cake doesn’t have to be big: a small bento cake with daisies, a cream number eight or a few warm words for mum is a gift in itself. 8 March cake design ideas

A number 8 made of cream flowers
The holiday’s main symbol is the number eight. On the powder-pink “Çiçəkli Səkkiz” cake it is built by hand from tiny piped flowers, with a greeting underneath. There is also a version with no words at all: an eight of white piped flowers on pink cream, where the number is the whole greeting.
Spring flowers: daisies, tulips, lavender
There are plenty of flower designs in the section. A pink cake with large white daisies and a Women’s Day greeting stands out on any table, while a blue one with daisies and silver beads is the dressiest of the spring series. There are also tulips in several colours with “Happy Women’s Day”, a lavender wreath and piped roses. Hearts and declarations of love
For a wife or girlfriend, 8 March is one more chance to say how you feel. The powder-pink cake with “i love you” and two sugar hearts is one of the most minimal in the catalogue — just three details. The vivid red glossy cake with “i love you” in white has the most saturated colour, and the cream cake with “love forever” in gold and a red heart is noticeable without being loud. On the pink cake covered in red hearts, the words in the centre are up to you — anything from a thank-you to a declaration of love.
Funny or flower-free
Not everyone loves flowers and hearts. For them there’s a cake with two hugging frogs under “I love you”, and a white one with a wine glass and a three-line jokey greeting — we’ll swap the text for your own. For a more reserved greeting, try the white cake with piped scrolls, a black satin ribbon and “Happy Women’s day”: a formal option that works well for a manager or a colleague.

Cake to go and office sets for 8 March
Celebrating a whole department with one big cake is awkward: someone has to cut it and hand out plates. With Cake to go, the cake in a cup, it’s simpler — each woman gets her own mini cake, and a wooden spoon and a candle are already included. The cups are sold in pairs, and offices usually take six to nine at once: a different drawing and a different wish for every colleague.
The 8 March designs include ready-made pairs: cream cups with handwritten gold lettering, a nice compliment for a colleague or friend; cups with “LOVE” spelled out in red hearts; and a very simple pink-and-cream pair with two hearts on each and no lettering. Prices are fixed and depend only on the size, not on how complex the design is: an eight made of dozens of piped flowers costs the same as plain lettering on a cake of the same size. The one exception is a heart-shaped cake, which costs more than a round one.

Lettering and your own design in the cake builder
Lettering on the cake is free, in English, Russian or Azerbaijani. On many 8 March designs the text is the real gift: a note to mum, a friend’s name or a phrase only the two of you will understand.
If none of the designs feels right, build the cake yourself in the online cake builder. For a spring cake, these settings are especially useful:
- Cream colour — powder pink, pink, lavender, yellow or red, out of 19 shades in the palette;
- Pictures — up to three images, including your own photos: say, a picture of your mum or a snap with your friends;

- Border — cream pearls around the top rim or shells, at no extra charge.

When to order an 8 March cake
The eighth of March is the busiest day of our year, and it books up early. Message us at least a week ahead: by early March there are hardly any slots left. We bake to pre-order only and have no counter of ready-made cakes, so a last-minute cake isn’t possible. Usually the order form lets you pick a date from two days ahead, but don’t count on that before 8 March.
