A teddy bear cake suits a baby’s first month, a first birthday or a child’s party, and it works well as a gift for grown-ups too. We pipe the bear in cream in all sorts of styles — from a chocolate bear with a magic wand to a minimalist line drawing — and write the name, age or month free of charge. In Baku a teddy bear cake from our catalogue starts at 25 ₼, and the price depends only on the size. Most of these designs are in the kids’ bento cakes section.
What kinds of bears go on a cake
Our catalogue has more than twenty bear designs, Winnie-the-Pooh included. It’s easiest to choose by style:
| Bear | What it looks like | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Chocolate bear | Piped in chocolate cream: with a magic wand, in a party hat or peeping over the edge | Monthly milestone cakes |
| White polar bear | A cub’s face in white cream on an almost colourless cake, or two bears in party hats | A newborn, the first months, the half-year mark |
| Bear with a balloon or bunting | A beige bear holding a number balloon, or a bear with bunting | A first birthday and birthdays up to age five |
| Knitted-look bear | Textured cream “fur”, black hearts and a name | A cake with the child’s name |
| Winnie-the-Pooh | With a honey pot or with red hearts | Monthly milestones and birthdays up to age three |
| Line-drawn bear | A minimalist drawing, or soft tones with “Happy Birthday” | Babies and grown-ups alike |
| Bears on photo cakes | Printed in edible ink: in a cream frame, hugging a panda, a kissing couple | An anniversary, a gift for a couple or a best friend |
Any bear can be swapped for your own: if your child has a favourite teddy, send us a photo of it on WhatsApp and we’ll recreate it on the cake. Lettering is free, in Russian, Azerbaijani or English.
A teddy bear cake for a baby: monthly milestones and half a year
For babies under one, a bear is a gentle choice: in muted tones it suits a boy or a girl. To welcome a newborn, parents often choose a white bento with a polar bear cub’s face and the baby’s name beside it, and for the first month a frequent order is the chocolate bear with a magic wand and “1 month”.
For a monthly photo series, it helps to stick to one style of bear: the bear in a party hat with a wand and “5 months” belongs to the same series as the first- and eleventh-month cakes. There’s also a pink cake with a chocolate bear peeping over the edge, and the understated “7 months of love” — a brown bear on white cream. For the half-year mark there are two bears in party hats, in blue or in pink and lilac. We explain how to plan the whole series in our article on cakes for a baby’s monthly milestones.
Bear, balloon and number: first birthdays and kids’ parties
A classic birthday combination is a bear, a balloon and a number. It works best when the balloon itself is the number: the beige bear in a party hat holds a balloon shaped like any number from one to five, and we write the child’s name beside it. One design covers every birthday from the first to the fifth — only the number changes.
For a first birthday there are also bears with bunting: one with blue flags and tiny flowers, where we spell out the name along the flags, and a bear’s face with colourful flags and “Happy 1 year”. Our guide to the first birthday cake covers which size to choose and what to write.
For a children’s party, go for a brighter bear. A pink cake with an ice-cream bear and colourful sprinkles is a frequent birthday pick; there’s also a turquoise cake with a bear in a party hat and little stars, and Winnie-the-Pooh with a name on a yellow cake.
A teddy bear cake for grown-ups
Bears aren’t just for children. Grown-ups get them too — a couple on their anniversary or a best friend — and in soft tones or a minimalist style the cake looks properly grown-up:
- A bear with a little cake and a candle and “Happy Birthday” in hand lettering — soft tones that suit a baby or an adult.
- A polar bear carrying a slice of cake with “Happy Birthday” in red — a simple line drawing, the kind of minimalism adults like.
- A white bear cub in a cream frame with red ribbons and a personalised greeting — one of the most ordered cakes in our photo range.
- Two bears kissing with two names for an anniversary, or a panda and a bear hugging among hearts — for a couple or a best friend.
- A Cake to go pair: a bear on one cup and “I love you” with hearts, or your own text, on the other.

On photo cakes we print the bears in edible ink on the cream, and they cost the same as a regular bento of the same size. Here are a few more bears from the catalogue — we can make any of them in the size you need, with your own lettering:
Choosing a colour for a teddy bear cake
The cream colour sets the mood as much as the bear itself. These are the combinations you’ll find among the bears in our catalogue:
- Brown on white — a chocolate bear on white cream: understated, for a boy or a girl.
- White on white — an almost colourless polar bear for a newborn and the first months.
- Blue or pink and lilac — to match a boy or a girl, or the photo backdrop.
- A bright background — pink with sprinkles, turquoise with stars, yellow with Winnie-the-Pooh — for a children’s party.
- White with red accents — lettering, ribbons or hearts: for grown-ups and couples.
The builder offers 19 cream shades — from white and powder pink to sky blue, lavender and chocolate — and 12 lettering colours, including chocolate and gold.
How to order a teddy bear cake in Baku
Choose the size by the occasion and the number of guests — the price depends only on that, not on the drawing:
- A baby’s month or a photoshoot — a small cake for 1–2 people: 300–350 g, 25 ₼. It comes in a white bento box;
- A first birthday with family — 750–800 g for 3–4 people, 35 ₼;
- A children’s party with guests — 1200–1500 g for 7–8 people, 60 ₼.
The easiest way to order a bear from the catalogue is from the cake’s own page: pick the size, sponge, filling and lettering, and a message with all the details opens in WhatsApp. Want a bear of your own, perhaps one that looks like your child’s favourite toy? Build the cake in the online cake builder:
- upload a picture or a photo of the favourite toy — a cake takes up to three images;
- match the cream to the bear: White, Cream or Powder go nicely with a beige teddy;
- add a name, month or age — up to three lines — check the cake in 3D and send the order.
Like all our cakes, a teddy bear cake is made to pre-order — at the earliest two days after you order. We rest on Sundays, and on Mondays we hand cakes over from 17:00. Want the bear to reach the birthday child without you? The form has a “The recipient is someone else” option for that. Everything else about courier delivery, Bolt Delivery and pick-up is in our guide on how to order a cake in Baku, and questions about the drawing are welcome on WhatsApp.
